Radio - Editing

 

The program we used to edit the audio was audacity. For more details on the compiling of raw audio files as well as the creation of different jingles and advertisements using samples, please visit my team member's blog at https://jasonmediastudies2223.blogspot.com

To compile the audio and the video and sort of animate the logo to create a more dynamic video, I used VSDC. 

This is a clip i recorded to ask my teammates if this sort of video would be alright, before i put this sequence of images over the whole audio and uploaded it to youtube. 

Radio - The Room

 

Image of our radio room handler Mr Wayan teaching us how to use the equipment in the radio room for eventual recording. 

- Male connectors go into Female connectors on the amplifier and mixer. 

- Audacity recommended for recording audio.

- 2 different type of mics at our disposal, Condenser mic needs phantom power, more sensitive recording, Dynamic mic doesn't need phantom power, only records what is right in front of it. 

Radio - Brief

 

Radio:

- Create a 15min radio segment (3 songs maximum)

- Create an advertisement to be featured on your show

- Create a logo for your radio station

- Track your progress on your blog

- Write a 600 word critical analysis of your work

Radio Self Reflection

 

This is the presentation for my end-of-term self reflection for this Radio Project.
